Marianne holds a Psychology Degree and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Development. Her practice spans more than 25 years of experience in individual and organizational change processes, such as psychotherapy, leading workshops on personal development, and managing complex organizational change processes in large companies.
She writes a regular blog on her website and blogged about sexuality and relationships for About.com, when it was owned by The New York Times.
Marianne’s psychotherapy practice is holistic and integrates diverse approaches such as attachment theory, somatic and cognitive psychotherapy, regression therapy, hypnotherapy, and mindfulness practices to the treatment of trauma, anxiety, and depression. This allows the person to regain awareness and connection, experiencing the joy of living in the present moment.
She also utilizes Eastern wisdom traditions, such as Yoga, and Tantric and Taoist practices, for the treatment of sexual difficulties. By combining psychological treatment with these energy healing modalities, sexual difficulties such as low sexual desire, premature ejaculation, and problems reaching orgasm, can be overcome.
Marianne also provides sessions addressed to self-development and growth, life purpose, dating and relationships, and career development.
Marianne practices meditation and yoga, as part of her spiritual practice, a journey that began many years ago and, since then, has provided meaning and guidance to her life. Because she has experienced the value of these practices, Marianne integrates meditation and mindfulness tools into her work with individuals and groups helping them to deepen the connection to spirituality through meditative exercises.
She has traveled and lived in India for long periods during the last 7 years. A native of Chile, lived in Venezuela many decades, and now a citizen of the world. Diverse inner and transpersonal journeys, such as meditation, past life regression therapy, and practices extracted from Buddhist psychology have added depth into her life and work.
